Glauco Cavaciuti was born in 1972.
His passion for art goes back to his childhood, when he used to listen to his parents, both painting restorers, talking about ancient boards or Fontana’s cuts.
Curiosity soon drove him to enter the art world, first through the auction house Semenzato, where he could come into contact with many works of art and so learn to evaluate them, then specializing in 19th-century painting and collaborating with one of the most important art galleries in Milan.
In 1996 he got married and together with his wife Francesca, he started to get closer and closer to modern and contemporary art, first only as an art lover and collector.
In the meanwhile, he opened his own art gallery in the so-called “quadrilatero della moda” (the worldwide well-known area in Milan), he completes important collections and proudly takes part to the most important antiques shows in Italy. His personal passion for 20th-century painting and contemporary art, of which he has now become an expert, involves him more and more.
In 2005 he chose to open a new, larger space to devote himself only to contemporary and modern art.
